We know that the cost of food, clothing and school life can be a worry for families. If you need support, please speak to a member of our school team. We will listen and help you find the support available.
We run a school foodbank for our families. We hold essential food items, such as rice and pasta, alongside hygiene items such as shower gel, toothpaste and female hygiene products. There are items in the school entrance that anyone is welcome to take. We have further items stored in the school. These can be accessed by any member of staff. You can ask ask the door, call the office or email the admin team.
If you are in a fortunate position where you could donate to our foodbank we always welcome non-perishable food items and hygiene products. Please hand these in to the admin team who will be delighted to restock our bank of items.
We have a wide range of pre-loved school uniform available free to all families. These uniform items are in good condition and have been donated by Hobletts Families. We love to recycle uniform as it supports our drive for sustainable practice limiting uniform going into landfill. It also supports keeping costs down for families. We will put a rack of uniform outside the school office every Friday (weather permitting.) You can also ask at the office (either face to face or through email) for particular items and sizes so we can check the stock we sometimes have.
If you would like to donate items that your child has grown out of or no longer needs please leave in the donation basket put out with the uniform rail on a Friday or hand into the school office. We really appreciate all efforts to support sustainable practice.

For emergency food locally, visit DENS Dacorum Foodbank. You can also check support with school meals and other benefits. Although all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can receive a free school lunch, eligible families should still register, as this can bring additional funding to the school.
