Applications for a nursery place starting in September 2024 are now open and can be made online. Please go to https://hobletts.nurseryintake.co.uk . Please read to the nursery policy below before applying.
As a community school we follow Hertfordshire County Council arrangements for admissions. Our published admission number is sixty and we can therefore accommodate sixty children in each of our year groups. All of our classes have a maximum of thirty children in each class and we have two classes in each year group.
Parents of nursery age children will receive information from Hertfordshire County Council on how to apply for a place in Reception. It is important to ensure applications are made before the published deadline, as late applications are considered after all of the other applications.
The application process for our Nursery is different from the process of applying for a Reception place. If you wish to apply for a Nursery place, you should apply directly to the school.
We admit all of our Nursery and Reception children to school in September. If parents or carers wish to delay their child's start date they should discuss their reasons with the school.
For admissions to the school (not to nursery) at any other time of the year, an In Year Application should be completed.
