The new Bethan Woollvin book will be ready for reading in a couple of weeks! I have ordered a copy and will record a video for you all to watch. This is the blurb...…………...
A feisty little girl learns who the real monsters are in this brilliantly funny adventure from the creator of the Little Red, Bethan Woollvin.
Once upon a time, far far away, lived a little girl called Bo who wanted to be just like her brothers, and capture a fearsome monster.
Bo is small, too small to catch a monster - or so her brothers say. But this little girl isn't one to take no for an answer, so she sets off on a quest to catch a monster of her own. Can she defeat the furious griffin, conquer the hideous kraken and triumph over the monstrous dragon?
Or if not, can she make friends with them?
What do you think the book is going to be like? Who thinks Bo will be brave and bold like Rapunzel?
Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!
We have loved reading Rapunzel by Bethan Woolvin. It is similar to the original tale but has an exciting twist! We used the story to inspire our very own written Rapunzel recounts. Come into class and have a look at out fabulous writing!
Do the same animals live everywhere?
As part of our science learning, we have enjoyed investigating different habitats around the school to see if the same animals could be found living there. Do you think we found the same animals living everywhere?
