Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Take care of yourselves and have a restful break from school. Looking forward to seeing you in 2017!
We had a great time helping all of the animals rebuild their homes after the storm! Percy the Park Keeper was very pleased with all of our hard work. We made sure that our shelters had a roof to protect the animals from the cold and the rain as well as giving them food and water.
The summer term has arrived and our new topic is 'Down in the garden'. We will be learning about what plants need to grow as well as naming the different types of plants, flowers and trees that we have growing around our school. We will be seeing what happens to plants if we don't give them light, water or a suitable temperature to grow in. As well as learning about plants we will be looking for different types of animals living outside and thinking about why they are suited to living in different habitats.
Thank you all for dressing up for the day and behaving so fantastically for our visitor Peter. You all looked like you were having so much fun finding out about life in Tudor times.
I hope you have all enjoyed the Christmas break. Happy New Year to you all. Thank you very much for the lovely Christmas cards and gifts, Mrs Robinson and I felt very spoilt!
This half term our topic is 'Turrets and Tiaras'. In Year Two, we will be focusing on The Tudors. We hope you all enjoy finding out about what life was like over 500 year ago in this country. We will also be thinking about what we are going to try and get better at this year. What goal will you reach for?
Here's to having fun and learning lots in the new year!
